ECBA Announces New President

The start of the new year brings a new face as the President of the Erie County Bar Association (ECBA). The ECBA welcomes John M. Quinn, Jr., Esquire as he assumes this leadership position with goals of assuring the financial stability of the ECBA, increasing visibility and making the ECBA even more member friendly.

Quinn is following in his father’s footsteps. John M. Quinn, Sr., Esquire served as President of the Erie County Bar Association in 1979.

As an Erie native, Quinn attended Cathedral Preparatory School. He continued his education at Notre Dame University, where years later he served as President of its Alumni Club, and then went on to law school at the University of Pittsburgh.

Quinn is admitted into all Pennsylvania courts, the United States District Court for the Western District and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Erie County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Defense Institute, Defense Research Institute and Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. He is a board member of Family Services/Big Brothers-Big Sisters.

Quinn and his wife Ann have two children, John R. and Kevin Quinn.
