The Northwestern Pennsylvania chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) held its annual Niagara Awards ceremony on Thursday, November 17 at the Brewerie at Union Station. The Niagara Awards recognize "public relations practitioners who have successfully addressed a contemporary issue with exemplary professional skill, creativity and resourcefulness." Submissions are judged by PR professionals from outside of the Erie area.

The Erie County Bar Association was honored to receive two Niagara Awards! The first award was a gold level award in the Special Events and Observances category, for which the ECBA submitted its campaign for the 2016 Law Day Luncheon and 5K. The second award was a silver level award in the Public Service and Public Affairs category, for which the ECBA submitted its efforts to rebrand print materials and an updated social media marketing campaign for our Lawyer Referral and Information Service.
