Erie County Bar Association Welcomes New President for 2017
The Erie County Bar Association welcomes attorney Craig Murphey to serve as President of the Erie County Bar Association for 2017. He replaces 2016 President Melissa H. Shirey.
A graduate of Fairview High School, Murphey completed his undergraduate work at the University of Pittsburgh and obtained his law degree from The Ohio State University. He is a Senior Partner with MacDonald Illig Jones & Britton LLP where he specializes in civil litigation. Mr. Murphey has been honored as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in each of the past six years, and has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© for the past five years.
"The Erie County Bar Association is an outstanding organization that provides essential services to the lawyers, judges and citizens of Erie County," says Murphey. "I am humbled to be asked by my colleagues to lead the Association. I look forward to a great year working with our outstanding Association staff, Board of Directors, and membership."
