Posted on May 20th, 2015 at 8:10 AM

In the race for Judge of the Court of Common Pleas, three of eight candidates move forward to the general election in November. Seven candidates cross-filed on both the Republican and Democratic ballots. Joe Walsh took the top spot on both the Democratic and Republican ticket. Attorney Erin Connelly secured one of the two Democratic nominations, and Jamie Mead secured the second of the two Republican nominations.

The winners in the November elections will join the bench of nine judges filling the seats of President Judge Shad Connelly, who upon turning 70 in December will have reached the mandatory retirement age, and Judge Ernest J. DiSantis Jr., who retired in January.
